People who receive blood transfusions or blood products can get hepatitis A. These are hemophiliacs, cancer patients and those receiving blood containing contaminated hepatitis A virus (HAV).
Once such incident published in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Journal was told by Dr. Kenneth K. Read the Department of Medicine, Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Sacramento, California.
In 1989, nine nurses in the obstetrics department of the hospital contracted hepatitis A in four days. The outbreak was traced to a baby who was discharged earlier.
The child was delivered in the same hospital by caesarean section and received 40 ml of fresh plasma frozen (liquid portion of blood without red and white cells). The blood donor was later identified as a 26-year-old who had no Symptoms of hepatitis A in the time donated blood, but jaundice developed shortly thereafter. He got the disease from her boyfriend.
From the VHA may remain in fresh frozen blood stored for up to six months, Lee stressed the importance of careful donor selection to avoid a similar situation in future.
"A number of reports have described transfusion-acquired hepatitis A, especially in the neonatal intensive care unit y. Another way of getting the disease is through reuse of contaminated needles and syringes. This means of transmission has not been conclusively established, however, transmission of Hepatitis A is thought to occur with poor hygiene, medicine contaminated with feces or sharing needles among drug users infected.
The direct transmission of virus from person to person is still the most common. This makes certain individuals at risk. One is the gay community.
The highest rates of infection have been observed in homosexuals, because of certain sexual practices, especially oral – anal. This was evident in 1991 in an epidemic of hepatitis A in Melbourne, Australia, affected 243 people.
Of that number, 197 were men – 89 of whom were homosexual. Other similar outbreaks among gay men have occurred in Europe, USA, and New Zealand.
"There has been a real and permanent increase in the number of clinical cases in homosexual men. The public health measures employed until now are being improved to control the transmission of hepatitis A in the gay community, "according to Dr. Tony Stewart of the Health Department of Victoria. Today I want to talk to you about creating a basement remodeling design and then turning to the functional design into a workable plan of soils. The plan ground for basement remodeling project to serve a few purposes:
1.) That will guide the actual construction process is now.
2.) A floor plan is required by most municipalities code to offices to obtain your building permit to begin work on
3.) A Once completed, the plant will serve as a guide for estimating and ordering building materials for your basement finishing project!
I use a simple computer software program called 3-D Home Architecture gather my floor plans. But you can use any number of generic planning "house and "software design programs to help with this. I found these software programs on all the" Big-Box "retailers such as Staples, Office Depot, Office Max just to name a few!
More information about how you really feel in my basement computer and design plans flat in another article! Today I wanted to key in the fact walk around your basement and put together a workable plan on the basis of existing design elements that are present in all basements.
I'm talking mainly about the locations of the following obstacles common basement:
* * Stairways water and waste pipe roof-line
* Windows * air duct work
* Exterior doors and gas water access site closure
* * Horn of waste ELECTRIC PANELS (locations of load centers) * within existing plumbing in the concrete floor
Given the landscape nature of most basements, will have a series of obstacles designed to create your finished basement floor plan.
Sounds like it could be easy, right? Well, if you think creatively about every obstacle crossing your path. I've seen each of these obstacles, a thousand times and still have to put on my thinking cap now and then to design a creative and functional way around these obstacles design!
By placing the wall basement around these new "blocks Raod" creative, we will hide all the ugly "" monstrosities around the basement. I could write for 2 hours here and not even Scatch the surface of the endless possibilities for the design of my waqy around these roadblocks!
