Why ESPN, Dale Earnhardt ahead of Richard Petty, both great pilots of all time?
Last year, ESPN selected Dale Earnhardt as the greatest engine of all time, but Richard Petty second. ESPN When selected corridors largest car of all time, Dale Earnhardt was selected 3, and Richard Petty 6. I think Richard Petty should be ahead of Dale Earnhardt when it comes to the selection of its greatest drivers of all time, because Richard Petty has 200 wins in his career, Dale Earnhardt has 76 career wins.
Hardy the word one. Petty had a chance to win more races, but note that they have so many people working on your car like Earnhardt did. Petty did at a time when much of the money they spent out of their own pockets. Their times are different and both would be well deserved. Personally, leaned Petty, because I think it ran against the biggest drivers were at their best when Earnhardt did. I guess if there was Davey Allison died earlier, Earnhardt probably would not have won many races and championships. That kid was special. And before the Earnhardt nation jumps on me with all the thumbs down, I mean nothing disrespectful to Earnhardt. I think the perfect time for Nascar race.
